I have to make,in a subcategory,two other subcategories,but doing so,manually,will lose all the runs of the players. Do you know how to avoid this? That is, put these 2 subcategories in one and automatically add the runs in each of the 2.

My solution for this kind of situation (not recommended)

1. change the category back to normal
2. open a tab in the browser with the link of each run
3. edit the category
4. edit the variable of the run in the tab
5. done I hope you can understand what I say XD

not really, better to give an example (unfortunately I'm new to doing this stuff): In this game, and especially in these categories https://www.speedrun.com/sbtya#Man_Ray_RTA https://www.speedrun.com/sbtya#Sinister_Slug_RTA https://www.speedrun.com/sbtya#Jumbo_Shrimp_RTA I want to add mainly two sub-categories: %only and %all BUT only in these 3 categories and then transfer the runs from one of these above categories. Ah, of course respecting the consoles from which you made the run (PSP,NDS)

What I did was I took all the runs submitted, put them in a google doc with the video link, time, and player. I then deleted the category and made a new run. I then transferred all the runs to the new category.

you don't have to edit any runs to do this. simply create a new variable for the category and add the two new values, make it a subcategory, then click the three dots and select "set the default for all runs without a value". this will assign all runs in that category the default value of your new subcategory. repeat for all categories you want to add the new subcategory to.
