Hello Guys i want to start Speedrunning some of my favorite Games. I already downloaded OBS for recording,My Game and WSplit as my Timer. And her is my Problem. I Just dont know how i can put WSplit in the forground so i can see my acctual Time. Is it possible on 1 Screen or do i need a second Monitor? If iam already here asking for help are their maybe some generall Tips for Speedrunning?

I run re2 and the best advice I can give to any new runner is that you gotta pick a game you love, one you can play over and over again and not get sick of it. But also be prepared to never be able to play the games you run the same way ever again. There's definitely sacrifices you gotta make to get good at your chosen game, but the communities you'll find around here are incredibly supportive.

ok thx These Tips are pretty helpfull and i relly want to start my first runs. My only Problem left is that i want to run GTA San Andreas and i cant put it in windowed mode. That means that i cant record Wsplit and my Gameplay in the same Video. But in other GTA SA runns they all got it on the same Screen. DO anyone knows how i could solve the Problem?
two screens (or an kinda banned dll file modification), capture the game from one screen, shrink it in OBS and add wsplit from your second screen to the screen.
