Hello!

I will try to speedrun when I can. as well as play casually too and blind playthroughs. I plan on speedrunning YGO: Forbidden Memories in over 12 hours or sometime. I really feel worthless when no one comes, so I hope I can be a streamer that people enjoy.

welcome to the site and good luck on your runs!

Perhaps find a friend who also likes the game to talk to you while you run it. If there is at least one person talking in chat it tends to make it so people are more likely to stay and watch.

Hey, everyone feels that way. You just gotta keep pushing forward. :) You'll have some ups and downs being a streamer

Good advice everyone! Yeah, it's rough when the chat box is empty; kind of embarrassing in a way. Discord is a good place to go. Look for the right channel and drop a line something like "I'm about to do a stream everyone, feel free to pop in and check in on me, I'd appreciate it" or something. They can't really show up if they don't know you're streaming, and eventually you'll start to find others who are just as interested in the game as you are. Alternatively, find other people streaming the games, and join the chat on their games as well. We might butt heads on this site sometimes, but we're all on the same team here. If you start making contributions to their streams, I think you'll find that they will be happy to do the same for you.

I'm a new streamer, so I rarely have a viewer; but just don't think about it. Just think about getting those sweet, sweet WR's.

@margaretelliott look up on "streaming games with OBS" on youtube.
