Where can i submit about cheated speedrun?

I decied to speedrun Alien 3 on NES and found out that fastest run https://www.speedrun.com/run/kz5p97em just speeded up by 15 percent, so its real time is about 29 min. You can see it simply comparing in-game timer and youtube time.

Valhalla

Comparing it to a longplay shows very similar gameplay speed. Also, never compare an in game timer to real time, you'll lose 99% of the time with that one.

Yeah that run is not cheated nor sped up from what I can see. In game timers don’t have to run accurately to real time, and most don’t. And NES games have many instances of an in game timer moving faster than real time.

Ok, looks like i should explain better. Lets take 1st level as example. It started at 0:38 and finished at 2:30 on youtube. So it took 1m52s of real time to complete it. Lets look at in-game timer: it started at 3:15 and finished at 1:03. We have 2m12s of in-game time. Seems legit? I dont think so. So this is my run of 1st level: https://vimeo.com/247924704 It tooks exactly 2m. Lets check in-game timer: it finished almost at 1.17, so i spent 1m58s. Yeah, in-game time is not equal to real, but delta isnt so much. Lets compare times: His: 1m52s real and 2m12s in-game. My: 2m real and 1m58s in-game. So i completed level faster with 14s difference, but on video he is faster than me with 8 sec gap. Nice

This is either a bad troll or...

Like you do realize that the faster you complete the stage in real time results in a higher in game time, right? It's counting down, not up.

If the timer is counting down from 3:15, then 2:12 left on the IGT at the end of the level means he beat it faster than you did if you're left with 1:52.

It took him 1:03 IGT to beat the level, it took you 1:17 IGT, so going off IGT he did he faster. There's also an obvious disparity in the IGT not being accurate to real-time.

It was 1:17/1:03 left on the IGT, not 2:12/1:58. I haven't found a problem with what he's saying yet. I'll try comparing them later.

Like you do realize that the faster you complete the stage in real time results in a higher in game time, right? It's counting down, not up. Yes, i realize. I completed faster, this is why at the end of level i had more time left on the timer. I had 1.17 and he had only 1:03. I saved more time so i was faster. Mayby my english is just bad and u cant understand me but i think i explained everything clear enough.

Valhalla

One of your previous posts said you completed the stage in 2min real time, and he completed it in 1:52min real time. So, he's faster? idc good luck proving it's a cheated run.

Where are you from, killLogic?

Does it happen to be Europe, by chance? Possible you have a PAL cart at 50hz? I ask this because PAL is 16.7% slower than NTSC is, which is very close to your 15% speed up approximation.

Where are you from, killLogic? Your question forced me to download USA rom and its really faster than EU, i have run same level with 1m40s This is kinda stupid, but issue solved

For what it’s worth it’s not stupid lol. People have been bitten by PAL or bad emulation before without realizing it. You’re not the first to have it happen nor will you be the last.

England

And this is why PAL hardware is a cancer on speedrunning.

Except for the cases where it's actually faster. Those games are super dumb.

Valhalla

I disagree, Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness PAL is like a different game, it's great
