Hello,

I was wondering if there were any plans to add a following features for runners. For instance, if I'd like to have the site show me all of, for example, Arcus87's latest runs, I could follow him and have those presented in a way similar to the games' follow system on the front page.

I'm well aware this isn't something that would get implemented overnight, and was merely wondering if the idea's been pitched before.

Following Arcus87's Twitch would produce the same results. Hell, it would be better than SRC, since you'd know about his latest runs before they hit here.

I think a follow button for runners has been suggested quite a few times already and is probably somewhere on the todo list of one of the devs here :)

Just follow him on Twitter, Twitch, YT or wherever he posts stuff. He'll likely post all runs he does there, probably even announcements so you can see him live doing some speedruns.

That's great for one runner. Now do that for the 30+ that might interest you.

Having the ability to follow a runner here would free up time checking past tweets, twitch vods, or youtube. Check one site (here) to see the latest runs from your favorite runners. It's a feature to drive traffic to this website. Why would anyone here be against that?

idk, I just follow people on twitch and twitter and it's worked for me for years.

Both are, yeah. Series is a bit more complicated because of how they work on the back end; would like to clean that up sometime.
