What does one do if they want to run say a GC, N64, or even PS2 game on a modded Xbox 360. Is it not allowed or just treated as an emulator for the console it was originally on?

If there are communities that allow it then is there well emulated mods for the console?

If your using a emulator on a modded console then it counts as a emulator

Assuming that's even possible, it would be considered an emulator. If it was at all accurate (which it almost certainly wouldn't be) then it could potentially be considered by certain communities, although there could be issues regarding verification.

That said, I'm not really sure why you would. Modding a 13 year old console to give it an emulator seems like a lot of effort to do something you could do fairly easily on a half-decent PC.

Thanks, and it was a hypothetical question because it seemed to be a tricky thing.

Backups arent that good of a thing either because I believe it removes loading times on some consoles due to it being loaded on a USB/SD which will load faster than a disc.

For what it’s worth, running something like a NES/SNES/GB emulator on a Wii as a homebrew application is slower than actual hardware. I think it’s also slower than emulators for a computer. So don’t do it unless you absolutely have no other option for running a game effectively.
