How to report a moderator?

"_GrayDye" is the moderator of Meteor 60 Seconds. His address: https://www.speedrun.com/user/_GrayDye He rejected a new WR from Chinese player named "liangxiacaisang" and banned this Chinese player due to his personal assumption, without any evidence. In the Forums, he had admitted that "I'm doing this because he MIGHT be cheating.", which means he had NO evidence at all. He just rejected WR and banned player selfishly. Besides, in order to control the words from the liangxiacaisang's supporters, he locked the post in the Forums arbitrarily, even removed the supporters out of the Discord. I hope you can read his things in the Forums. I REALLY don't want to make a conclusion that he is a RACIST. However, I deem that at least we can have a common consent that he has a prejudice to this (even all) Chinese player.

The Forums: https://www.speedrun.com/meteor60seconds/forum The post he locked arbitrarily: https://www.speedrun.com/meteor60seconds/thread/kqrk1 He created this post, with a title "Cheaters." in order to stigmatize a Chinese player. In this post, he just declared his personal assumption, and NO evidence at all.

This is the new WR from this Chinese player: If anyone can find cheat in THIS run with conclusive evidences, I can delete my post.

I've only skipped through the first few posts, but to me it looks like he has solid evidence against that person, not just a "hinch" or "might be cheating".
when the livesplit reaches the 10 second mark... the time in game does not match up
just for the sake of sanity, instead of accusing him to have prejudice, maybe check if what he thinks makes it an unbelievable run, might actually be true? from what he wrote he was given instructions on how to replicate the "glitch" to go faster, but despite that was unable to reproduce it on multiple attempts. that the player told him he downloaded the game from a forum post is also a point against the chinese player, as you never know what might've been modified in an unofficial source.

TL;DR I didn't check much, but as far as I can see the mod actually had reason to reject these runs. /shrug idc really, I'm not a person of power and I couldn't care less about drama.

_GrayDye just talked about the OLDER run, which liangxiacaisang played in a Chinese version. The original version of Meteor 60 Seconds has no Chinese language, and liangxiacaisang is a Chinese player. It's very normal for a player to play a game with his familiar language, so liangxiacaisang found a Chinese version and play it at first. But the Chinese version is not created by the game developers, it is made by game enthusiasts in order to share with Chinese players easily. As game enthusiasts are not the game developers, the game enthusiasts may change the original version unintentionally when they changed the texts from other language to Chinese. The game enthusiasts didn't know the game may be changed, so as the players like liangxiacaisang.

Besides, after _GrayDye pointing out the differences and problems about the Chinese version, liangxiacaisang had found the original version, and redo the run. Finally, liangxiacaisang made a new WR with ORIGINAL version, which I had posted above:

I NEVER said the OLDER run with Chinese version has no problems. But after liangxiacaisang submitting a new WR with ORIGINAL version, _GrayDye, the moderator of Meteor 60 Seconds, still holds his outdated prejudice. What's more, _GrayDye bans a Chinese player with his outdated prejudice, and controls the words.

At a distant view, a situation like this looks like one of the following: 1: Unintentionally, by getting an unofficial version of the game, the user acquired a faster version. Either the mods the translator made to this version have sped up the game, or the method of play of the game has sped up the game. In this case, the runs aren't really comparable and would be rejected. This seems to have happened to this user with at least two games now, so the source of their flash games does not appear to be reliable. 2: The other option is that the user intentionally modified the game speed or video speed to get a faster time.

Whether it's intentional or unintentional, most of us can't really know for sure. The language barrier also makes it somewhat difficult to evaluate. We can't fully see what's going on because we can't read anything other than what some users are telling us. The user seems to be a well-known Chinese player based on the number of views they get, and being in a position like that makes people less likely to cheat in my opinions at least. I tend to think it was probably unintentional, but I can't know for sure.

Moderators sometimes get submissions where users cheat and speed up videos. Most of the time they are from users who are intentionally cheating, and it gets annoying to deal with. Once in a while it's a misunderstanding of the rules, or a bad game version, or a bad video upload, or some reasonable explanation. In this case, at the very least, the user needs to do a better case of validating that they are playing official or comparable versions of these flash games. If there's constantly a question of if the player is playing on a faster version, it makes it very difficult to know if a given submission by the user is legitimate.

At the very least, part of the "prejudice" being spoken towards is primarily that the user has issues getting accurate versions of flash games, which isn't entirely false. There is also a language barrier between us and the users and the site the video is on and the video comments. We can't see and understand all the details of the situation here. All we know is what the video shows, and what the users advocating on behalf of the user are saying. Trusting a "corrected" submission takes more attention to detail after the initial issue.

A run cheated well enough may never have 'hard' evidence against it.
