I know what it feels to run a game that you can't really record but yes,a lot of people seem to not care about recording/giving information about their runs and the leaderboards of this game are very "unwelcoming" and "unprofessional".

Recording this game without a proper setup is annoying like every any other game but still doable and it'd better if runners would at least provide splits and/or "sound proofs".

I'm not a really good example but I'm trying to do what I can.

Also,I think should be modded more players known and trustworthy or at least that have solid proofs and not everyone who asks for it.

In the spring, I had been trying to get through to them about that stuff, but I gave up eventually because it wasn't getting anywhere. Dj_wonder and speedrunsRus got mod by pestering about it in the forum, then deleted the forum threads that they asked for mod in. The problem is that us as a community need a video if you aren't a mod, and the only people who don't need them are mods so clearly they are the problem (I think this is pretty clear). However, the only people who can change/fix this problem because they have authority, are the goddamn mods themselves so it is a repeating cycle of them having and keeping to not help the situation. There is only one person who can fix this problem... the only mod who doesn't add to the problem. Articuno. He needs to talk to them and fix this problem. Anyone agree?

True, but srasko has ultimate power and doesnt have vids. Thats a huge problem imo

Either that or someone could contact an admin... but I don't know if the situation has gotten to that point yet.

Noticed that some of the World 1 RTA 100% runs break the rules of the category as me (didn't do that on purpose :1), Kylovic (and probably Drellmere) didn't unlock the warp as requested, despite this, all the runs got verified.

So I guess mods (or some of them) don't even re-time runs/Ils to verify that the run owner timed correctly.

I would be happy to mod this game if people are ok with that. Don't know if any of the current mods read the forums anymore though...

I would be more than happy if Ongnissim was appointed, he would make a much better mod than anyone we currently have. I am just excited that something is finally getting done about this. :P

I'm pretty much done with the game for now. Any% is a massive grindfest now and I don't have the time to do the longer categories. However, I don't want to abandon the community and being a mod would be one way to stay involved! If any new tech appears I may come back to running the game :p

I found a trick in 1-1 which is 20% consistant and it saves 0.1-0.2 seconds. You have to come back OpieOP

But, seriously, since everyone is active in this forum and no other forum, I wanna make a skype race group and i'm pretty excited that this community is really growing. I have been here since August last year and i remember there being hardly 10 people so to have 40, nearly 50, people in the community is madness. So a stand still like mods who arguably dont deserve to be mods and debates about whether we should have video footage or not is really quite upsetting (btw i use the worst webcam in history and i sing during my runs but i'm still on team video (also i don't know why i needed to point out i sang but fuck it)). I don't want to waste what a great group of people we have and fantastic runners we are capable/already have. I am really passionate about this game and us together so I have decided to make a full 30 min tutorial for any% and I was going to ask for help in another forum but you guys are here so screw it. It would be great to have people on board with this (especially Organissim cause he's like a god at this game along with RaikerZ) and I need as much help as i can get.
