It's as the title says. I've spent the last couple weeks working on Sonic R stuff and this is what it culminates into.

So ya know, I think this should be speedrun legal. All the mods are cosmetic and barely even noticeable at that.

I also included a few nice codes in the Mod Manager codes tab that would be useful for speedrun practice. One of them makes it so no matter what, all coins and emeralds spawn in the stage during single player Race mode. That would probably be useful for practicing movement in stages with specific characters.

You just install the 1998 version, run Sonic R Updater, and then you can play on any modern windows machine. No hex edits, no dxwnd, no running some program in the background to make the framerate OK.

It all just works. Hope you guys enjoy this.

Just for the record, any run that is submitted using this version is not valid until further testing is done. Any change or modification of the game by an outside program is obviously not allowed.

If I'm not wrong ... the mod manager allows tricks / traps, no wonder it's not allowed, but it seems interesting.
