Cheap Capture Card?

I was looking for a capture card for my switch (and possibly 3Ds), but found that they were way more expensive then I am willing to pay. I saw ones around $20, but they only have the three plug setup (idk what its called) and one USB port. Will that work and/or do you guys know of any cheap capture cards that will work for the switch? (Cheap like sub $50, otherwise I'll just stick to recording my TV) Thanks!

I doubt that there any any real good Captrue Cards below 50€, good ones are at around 100€ (which then can record all current consoles and with adapter most old ones too)

3DS Capture Cards are very expensive and can only record the actual 3DS. If you got a New 3DS you could also hack the 3DS to record it (although you can then onlyrecord 3DS games, no DS, no VC and no New 3DS exclusives)

Yeah, a decent HDMI capture card will be $100-$150 USD (closer to $150) easy. A 3DS capture card will be even more, as in a couple hundred of dollars.

As an aside, the capture cards you’re talking about capture component inputs, something the Switch doesn’t output.

for the switch you will need a capture card with hdmi. :) for ds and 3ds most boards accept cameras because of how much it costs for a capture card ^^ lots of them also accept emu, just make sure to check the rules and stuff. ^^ have fun

Yeah so I think I'm out on capture cards. Thanks!

I just got a rather cheap Capture Card myself, but only cheap because it was being sold on eBay - which I luckily found on Google Shopping. Amazon was selling it for £91, however I managed to get it for £48. So, my advice, find a list of best ones to have in 2017 / 2018, and then compare prices on Google Shopping.
