Adjustments to the Verifier role.

From the feedback we received regarding the current state of the Verifier role, site staff decided to implement the following changes to the Verifier role being effective immediately:

Verifiers should now be able to:

  • Edit new and existing submissions
  • Delete new and existing submissions
  • Self verify their own runs.

Do note that a change like this ofcourse also comes with more responsibility for this role. We expect this role to be handled with similar care to other mod roles, but I think we can all agree on that this role can now be applied in the right way.

Any chances on a role below verifier being created with little to no power just to honour community members? Okay alright guys I know most of you won't find it useful or anything and the dev team will be annoyed as they have more important things to do, but can you at least give me your thoughts on the matter?

@Liv On the Goime 500 page, you'll see fixylol is a verifier. He doesn't actually ever use the role, but basically he created the leaderboards and was involved early on before it blew up in popularity, but is no longer involved in the community. I leave him as a verifier because he created the board and I feel its not fair to remove him and exclude him from the community lest he ever return. Another example would be the game's dev, who is active but not in the game community anymore. That being said, I mainly have had this idea for fixylol who has played a part in the development of the community and who I think should be immortalised or rewarded as such, if you see what I mean.

I meant it more that they aren't active in the community at all, and it's more I want them to be remembered them they do.

@Gave2haze I see, so we should add a medal of honor or a gravestone icon for them. Gotcha.

I'm obviously joking.
