New discovered Strats, Tricks and Glitches

I found this Glitch a few days ago, which also works in Gex 2: Enter The Gecko!

This works in Gex 3 and also in Gex 2, but it sadly takes 1-2 minutes to get this Glitch to work. It might still very useful for things like TV-Cancelling etc!

I found a small timesaver in Rezopolis for 100%. I can't record anything on emu right now, so I'll try to describe it:

After the first "disco room", there is this big room that contains the hidden remote. I found that you can jump directly up to the hidden remote by luring a flying enemy towards you and using him as a platform. If done correctly, this saves around 5 seconds. To get the enemy's attention, you'll have to look at the corner in the distance where he spawns and keep him on camera long enough while he flies towards you.

Here's the video :)

I think I might have found a slight time save for the bridge room in www.dotcom.com, not sure if it's been discovered yet or not. I'm not sure how to describe the room itself, so I just made an unlisted video. I apologize for the poor video quality.

ZanderGoth does something similar in his PB, except he completely skips the charge power-up (N64 lag makes it easier to kick over the inactive bridge at the beginning). The main issue is the camera turning automatically on the bridge, which can mess up your karate kick angle. I'll play around with it a bit more, maybe I can get it consistently enough to consider doing it in runs. :)

Yeah, with practice I was only able to get it about a quarter of the time. There is an easier time save too, but it doesn't save as much time. You can tail whip up the angled sliding floors in that room to skip the first two bridges.

I also noticed that it's possible to TVC from Smellraiser into Gilligex Isle, saving a couple seconds if pulled off correctly.

Alright, this is still kinda scary, but should be viable for runs. Worth noting that entering the next room with reversed camera starts the rotating platform cycle later, saving some additional time (~5 seconds total).

I've seen someone do the "wrong warp" into Gilligex on N64 before. Doesn't seem to work on the PS1 version though, always softlocks the game.

@Mysticore It's true that the WW into Gilligex doesn't seem to work on the US NTSC version. But for whatever reason, on the JP NTSC version it does work! At least on emulator when I tried and it was consistent. Just something interesting to note.

This is definitely important enough to post in here, as it saves over 50 seconds if done well (at least on the PS1 version with SDS). Credit to Bullskull for finding out that you can clip into the central hub from below.

I roughly timed some route variations that you could go for with this, but the old level order still seems the fastest. So after Smellraiser, you clip into the central hub on the left side and enter Frankensteinfeld, proceed like normal (Mooshoo -> Fine Tooning -> Umpire -> Pangaea), then after Pangaea, backtrack to the central hub instead of voiding out and enter dotcom. You could technically save another 2 seconds by voiding out and doing the clip a second time on the right side, but ledge grabbing or any longer setup than what is shown in the video would most likely end up not being faster.

Yeah it's a huge find for Any%. I didn't come up with it though, Bullskull did. ;)

Timing Rules Update

Hey everyone. There has been a slight change to the timing rules, which applies to all full game categories.

From now on, timing ends when the cutscene of giant Rez getting hit plays for the third time.

Reason for the change is that Rez pressing the final button is not necessarily equivalent t
