sorry for the trivial question. I sometimes like to do a casual run of SA in one go but i frequently experience 2 issues on Windows 8.1, 1.01 EU gta_sa.exe (both original and no-cd), frame limiter on:

• mouse look doesn't work and have to move the cursor in the menu to restore it
• complete locks after cutscenes (especially when teleporting)

AFAIK 1.0 exe is used in speedrunning, can this solve the issues? and is it possible to run it in 1080p?

for mouse set the game to run on 1 core (should work), I'm not sure about the lock after cutscenes and you can run it in 1080p with 1.01 exe or you can use displayresolutionsfix.asi to unlock them also run as windows xp, disable visual themes and run as admin, That's what I do

thanks a lot, ill try these settings. interesting fact - the compatibility tab is missing for the original (no no-cd) exe (because Microsoft has already predefined settings for it, i dunno if they did it right)
