Saints Row 4 - 100% ?

I am searching a correct 100 % checklist from Saints Row 4, for about one week now and cant find anything usefull. Every website is saying something different. What are the actual percentages you get from Missions, Side missions... and all the other stuff you need to complete saints row 4 in 100% ?

Are challenges required ? Skins ? Costumes ? I am confused

England

100% as far as I know is all Missions, all Activities, all Challenges and all Collectibles.

The routing would be a pain I doubt that there will ever be anything even close to an optimized run

For collectable you would have to have an eidetic memory to remember all 1255 clusters location and though they are not hidden and are easily found they will be a time sink unless they were routed into the route while doing mission. This is without the audio log, Zinyak statues and Text Adventure logs that will also have to be routed in detours.

The challenges can be very grindy and you would properly end up having to do a 2-3 hour plus rampage after everything else is done to get some of them optimally you would want to do them as you go along the main game.

The Activities are mostly pretty straight forward but having to get gold in them all as it is part of the challenges is a pain there are 66 in total that you will have to be consistent to give you an idea in SR3 100% there are 56 activities and I have only ever managed 3 complete runs with no fails.

The missions for any% are 4 plus hours the side mission will easily add another 3 to that.

It is a pain but still reachable :D I dont think Challenges are required ... i looked in a forum and it says no challenges ... but hacking is important .. still a bit confused how to reach 100% :/

England

I was pretty sure Challenges were included which was the reason I put routing it on the backburner. If in fact they are not that would be great and would remove quite a lot of time from the run.

I would be happy to help you route it would a nice challenge to balance out getting cluster vs using the faster void for missions.

Germany

void is pretty usefull for things like wave killing :D or other destroying missions & i just asked myself if its doable to complete all side missions wihtout doin the main story missions ?

England

Now we have had conformation about what is required I have started to route out this run. Did a quick play through of SR4 100% over the last week or so and finished it in 12:27IGT which would have been about 13:15-30 or so in RT.

I was left with 400 or so clusters to get after the story and a few of the more grindy challenges:

While I accept that it is likely that the clusters will always have to be cleaned up it may be better doing them as soon as you get the collectable finder or rushing to get it and doing it while doing the activities. In short it is the trade off of time for the extra power up.

Time wasted to finish off challenges can be done better while doing mission and activities so a good 1:30 could be trimmed. I decided to do the weapon challenges while doing viruses but have come to the conclusion it is a time sink and it will be better to do them all in the void and grind the one Genki one that has 101 and fail and repeat that one. The power ones will be better to do in super fight club on a defend the spot as the respawn rate there is so high. Also due to the way I did the viruses and activities I got the catch thrown items upgrade too late in the run so that will need to be changed.

All in all it was promising time wise and a 10:30 or even sub 10 could be the target in time.

Isn't one of the challenges to play for 40 hours?

England

No the 40 hours is an achievement not a challenge.

I thought it was 4th and 40, it shows up when you play, does it not count?

England

Here is the complete list of the challenges that need to be done to obtain 100%.

So if I wanted to try and route this game out, how would I go about doing that? Also, can someone confirm what is needed for 100%? I've heard missions, activities, challenges, and collectables (and seen the challenges list) but that doesn't seem to include things like City Takeover and the like, right?
