so i have a curious question, if you are gonna submit a run lets say for example like a run of Mega Man X4 or something like that, so what if the situation is like this, you played a pirated copy of a game (lets say a burned copy of Mega Man X4) and play it on the PS1 console, is it allowed for submission and considered to be a legitimate run?

dont get me wrong i support the devs and i buy games this question is just out of my curiosity since not everyone can have an original copy of a game.

You'd have to ask the mods of the game to get a definitive answer, but in general it seems that a lot of communities don't like burning games to discs to play. Too many factors to consider as a lot of different things can affect the performance of the burned copy.

You're better off playing on emulator (if it's allowed) if you don't have a disc.
