Does anyone know if there is a recorded speedrun of The Lord of the Rings on the SNES?
I've been looking for a while now but haven't been able to find one.

Didn't even know that game existed on SNES but to answer your question, not to my knowledge. There is always the possibility that no one has done a speedrun of the game (I've ran a few like this) and it's just waiting for you to break it.

That's not always a bad thing. If there's really no run, go get yourself a free WR! I'm sure people will try to beat you earlier or later.
