ToFAST WR Speedruns

I submitted two world records for ToFAST yesterday, one for Glitches and one for Coils. Both were rejected because they did not display the FPS during the run, as noted in Rule 7 for runs. However, this run was rejected by Xerunox, one of the Super Mods, who currently holds both the No Glitches and Coils world records for the tower, and verified his own runs despite not showing the FPS in his gameplay. To ensure fairness I would recommend that moderators uphold their runs to the same standard as regular players, even if that means invalidating their old runs if they do not conform to new rules.

When that rule was introduced, it was decided that it would be unfair to apply it retroactively. Xerunox's ToFaST runs have not been removed from the leaderboards because those runs were completed on February 16th and February 18th of 2021, and the Shift+F5 rule was introduced on February 19th. All runs submitted after that point are required to have FPS shown if you are a PC runner.

I don't understand why it's a rule now and doesn't apply to back then. Keep in mind runs back then were still able to use FPS unlocker, while now the game restricts you to a maximum of 75. It is not unfair to apply it retroactively when the retroactive runs are the ones that are most likely to be using FPS unlocker. If the runs do not comply with the current rules, they should be removed, much like if you made a game require video proof, you would remove all runs without it. It just seems like common sense. Is there a way to bypass the FPS limit that I don't know about? The rule seems quite unnecessary nowadays.

because there is several years of runs and to reject all of them because a rule that was added later on is the stupidest thing in the world also the entire point of the fps rule is to stop people using fps unlocker because that is literally an unfair avantage for only windows PCs

FPS unlocker doesn't have a purpose anymore, if you set your FPS to unlimited the game will still force you to a maximum of 75. Removing old runs doesn't seem like an issue as there appears to be no problem resetting leaderboards whenever a tower gets a slight change in design or patch. I would argue that you should remove the FPS rule entirely as I've seen no evidence that getting an FPS above 75 is possible.
