Gotta be Puyo Puyo SUN ( https://www.speedrun.com/puyopuyosun ) for me. A lot of people say Puyo Puyo is complicated from looking at the competitive side of the series or even some of the speedruns from games like Mean Bean Machine on hardest difficulty but this game is pretty different than all that.

SUN is a great short game for beginners to the series and since we use the 'Extremely Easy' difficulty in all categories, you only really need to make 2 chains or 3 chains which isn't as intimidating as some of the 7+ chains you see in regular competitive Puyo. It also just makes this a pretty relaxing game to get some PBs in. The game is pretty dead right now with only me and two others running it and could do with some more runners. If you decide to run this game though try using the PC version as it is the one we are active in right now.

Plasma Sky is really fun. Just got added. Android game. Needs runners. Noobie friendly for Conquest mode unlimited continues.

We should make an exchange program: every runner without competition in their game finds an exchange buddy and they run each other's games. 😄

Super Ledgehop: Double Lazer and Yuuto Ichika's One Time Wonder. The first one has a small but semi-active community. The latter, no one except me speedruns it, and I haven't posted any of my runs, yet. Yuuto Ichika is a Touhou fangame. Also, Laika's idea is very good.

There's a few autoscrollers, but thankfully they're also challenging and involve some bit of speed. There's an OoB clip that skips a level, and a TAS-only glitch that currently seems inhumanly possible, maybe due to subpixel positioning. There's also a 100% category that isn't much slower than the any% if you're a completionist. Even if it doesn't appeal to you as a speedrun, do try it casually! https://www.speedrun.com/bkcc Cyber Cross for the TurboGrafx-16, aka PC Engine. A sidescrolling brawler that pays homage to tokusatsu shows such as Super Sentai (aka Power Rangers.) There are 3 forms to take, each with their own unique weapon, and an alarming amount of enemies coming at you at any moment. It's always a battle between which enemies to defeat and which to tank damage from to reach the end of the game as fast as possible. I think anyone could speedrun this with some practice and memorization. So please, do try it!

Yakuza: Dead Souls

Pros:

• Fun and simple speedrun
• Great cast of characters
• Totally didn't rip-off Left4Dead mutants
• Less than 3 hours long

Cons:

• Only on PS3
• Can crash, the most infamous being during the finale
