It's Midnight Rosa here, and I am very new to this scene. So new, in fact, I have no real Idea what game I'm gonna run... Well I have a few options that I could choose. I have the most experience playing Kirby superstar ultra, triple deluxe and the mainseries pokémon games. Other games I've a fair bit of experience with include LoZ:OoT, Spelunky, and others. My main question is what I should speedrun, I'll have to experiment a little bit to figure it out.

Welcome! I think it's best to start with something you know and enjoy - if you know a game inside out casually then theoretically it shouldn't be too hard to incorporate any glitches or speed strats into a playthrough :)

Many would suggest running a game you really enjoy because speedrunning a game means you play that game A LOT! Pokemon has a great community that is willing to lend a hand to newcomers I hear. Since you enjoy those games I'd suggest starting there. I hope you have fun! :)
