Howdy all :D Last year I was constantly watching speedruns of my favorite games and now I'm looking at having a shot at a few games of mine and thought I'd pop on and say hello.

Really loved the Games Done Quick over the past week and was great to donate some money towards it as well.

Will look forward to posting up some videos of Wonder Boy 3 and Sonic once I figure out how to get the splits.

Howdy mate, You can use XSplit to record the games (or even to make streams), and to use in screen stopwatch there is LiveSplit. Both are pretty easy to use, in one hour I was recording my runs. Good luck!
