In regards to cyberdemon's post above. Please read the X6 topic before proceeding with giving him or not moderator status. He and another user was basically the only person against the changes, and he is just mad it did not turn out like he wanted. Thanks.

So, I have messaged the only mod on the Super Mario 3D Land page regarding my request for mod; the addition of the rules to the run categories; and miscellaneous run categories, but he hasn't returned any reply. I messaged him on Youtube and Twitch (they are the only media he has connected), but I haven't had a reply. Someone has already asked what the rules are in a forum post (which I answered). But now I am worried there are people who won't run it because this page is practically inactive.
I wish to start off speedrunning this game in the MISC categories first (to learn), and eventually work up to the proper categories. But there has been no reply at all.

SakuraFreak: Ecco: Added, moderator is way inactive. SotN: Moderator does seem to run the Saturn version, so I think your portrayal of "knowing nothing about the game" is an overexaggeration. It's probably more the case that you think the categories are suboptimally set up. CVSpeedruns is down right now, so I can't reference them to see if you have runs and/or moderate there, so I'll respond to this request again when it's back up.

General note to others posting in this thread: Please try to offer constructive solutions such as "Try doing this" instead of saying "You should've done this." Also only posts by site staff (Full mods and admins) should be interpreted as official, if that was unclear. Site staff does get to all requests, it may take a few days obviously.

(copy pasting this again from the first post) Please keep in mind that using this thread is somewhat a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Twitch messages to mods are probably best for now.

I would be a great moderator for Super Castlevania IV. I actively run the game and can update it regularly.

Only 1/4 mods for rayman 1 actually plays the game. For klonoa, nobody even plays the game (ps1 version)
Also, i would like to add more categories and seperate emulator and console, i would also want to add a pc category. ^ This all has been very needed and yet to be implemented.

Hello, this was brought up a couple of weeks ago but I want to bring it up again because it hasn't gotten better. I'd like to request either myself or Thaan to be given mod for http://www.speedrun.com/BloodRayne_Betrayal The current mod is not actively watching the board and also hasn't responded to a forum post requesting a discussion on timing rules (which he made by himself and doesn't match with us who have run the game)
@Thextera - Klonoa and Rayman both have active moderators and you have no actions pending for either game. Message the game moderators to see if they will add you, outside of that, there is no reason to add you as a moderator for either of the games.
@MajorTOM - only one moderator, and while he was only active a week ago, I'll add you since he's the only mod, and you have a run pending. Don't let me down.
@DevlJoe - moderator hasn't been on for a few weeks, you have runs pending, and there is only one mod - so, added.
I'm asking to be mod in Portal:Prelude : http://www.speedrun.com/portalprelude because the runs aren't verified correctly. I discussed with the whole SourceRuns about this and it's obvious this run : http://www.speedrun.com/run/emk3lglz is a fake. First, TechnicalGordon is temporary banned from SourceRuns forums. Secondly, he doesn't run Out of Bounds category. Third, he has no proof while SourceRuns community decided you at least need a screenshot of your splits. Forth, it seems he just typed randomly on his keyboard 3 04 567 to fill the time. Fifth, the IG time doesn't match up with the real time. Sixth, he is faster than Diablo, current Portal 1 OoB WR holder so it's quasi impossible to get this time.
About the current mods : Super mod Xorven , Super mod Znernicus , Mod Norferzlo , Mod Blizik , Super mod PerOculos , Mod Imanex , Mod Mikael , Mod TheSwagatron , Mod Klooger Xorven : I have never heard of that guy, I supposed he got that power because he requested the leaderboard for this game. Znernicus : He is more involved in the Portal 2 community and he got the moderation power because he runs Portal 2. Norferzlo : He is retired from speedrunning. Blizik : He is retired from speedrunning and he plays Portal once a year nowodays. PerOculos : PerO is like Znernicus but he is more active than Znern, he got the moderation power because he runs Portal 2. Imanex : Same thing, more a Portal 2 runner. Mikael : Portal 1 Runner but last online, a month ago. TheSwagatron : He is more into Portal 2 but he also does Portal 1 and I am pretty sure he doesn't check regularly this mod's leaderboard. Klooger : Same thing, he is more into Portal 2. Even though I have a lot of respect in these mods (except Xorven that I don't know) I doubt they read the Portal:Prelude leaderboard and said "Oh it's ok".
The main problem with this leaderboard is that it's managed by the guy who submitted it on speedrun.com + "Portal series moderators". And the "Portal series moderators" is a group of people who used to run very actively but now they don't run very very much (except PerOculos). Also, these runners were WR Holders like Blizik but now he isn't. Finally, the "Portal series moderators" is made of Portal 1 AND Portal 2 runners and these games are very different and their communities are very different. Even the tricks and the engine are different. Technically, Portal 1 is closer to Half-Life 2 than Portal 2 because Portal 1 is made in Source Engine 2006-2007 (so does Half-Life 2) while Portal 2 is made in more recent versions of the engine with different speedrunning techniques. Portal 1 & Half-Life 2 runs use the ABH while Portal 2 runs use BunnyHop.
Addendum : TechnicalGordon seems to have removed by himself his run because we asked him to do so. However, my point is still valid, the game is bad moderated.
Now the run isn't here, I had to say what was there : There were a run of Technical Gordon in 3 minutes 04 seconds 567 (he just typed 3 04 456) with his keyboard. Also, the whole SourceRuns team watched him streaming and it's impossible he could even do that time. Finally, he didn't have any proof and had "lol" as comment. I'd like to request to be given mod for 007: Agent Under Fire. I've been trying to contact the mod for that game for about 5 days now, and for like 3 days to accept my run and I've gotten no response. Also the leaderboards in general are really outdated and inaccurate. For instance, the main category he has on there is "Easy Difficulty", but the real easiest difficulty is actually called Operative. Also he's missing 1 time on the hardest difficulty that has been done, but of course he's not here for me to tell him to add it.

I do believe the mods are inactive as they have not done anything since their initial run. I have no way to contact them either. I've also submitted a run. and waiting for it to be approved.
Also just want to add. I'll probably do a run in Zombie Army Trilogy as well (same game basically) And I'll also probably submit that run as well.
i would like to be added as mod of KID DRACULA GB http://www.speedrun.com/Kid_Dracula_GB as i know more about that game than anyone on the leaderboard because i have the fastest time and i helped remake the new TAS with Hetfield90.. i would like to split US and JP into 2 different categories for the vast differences the versions carry.. not to mention explain these differences within the rules of the game.. which there are no rules posted anyway so you can see some updates really should be made.. i would also like to be added as mod of MICKEYS ULTIMATE CHALLENGE http://www.speedrun.com/Mickeys_Ultimate_Challenge because the current mods are taking quite a while to accept my run that is faster than anyones on the leaderboard [i also have a friend GhostZapperSRL who has a time over 1min faster than my run who deserves his spot on the leaderboard as well and he deserves mod if you ask me].. i'd also like to give this game 3 categories instead of just one.. there are 3 difficulty levels this game carries that make the game much harder to beat not to mention much longer time needed to beat.. so it seems fair to give them their own categories.. thank you for your time
