Downgrade/patch submission rules?

EDIT: For others wanting a Steam 1.01 (inc removed content by R¤ and widescreen while being able to submit a valid run) see this: http://www.speedrun.com/gtasa/thread/kjpji/1#bfhxt

If I downgrade to 1.0 and then install SilentPatch it makes the frame limiter 30fps instead of the required 25/26fps.

Of course I could always not use the Silent Patch but then I wouldn't be able to use 1080p in the regular 1.0 version... What does everyone else do for their runs?

Thanks. Thus begins the hunt for an exe.

For others with the Steam version wanting to use v1.01:

  1. Downgrade your Steam GTA SA to v1.0 using this: http://gtaforums.com/topic/753764-steam-downgrader/. Delete gta-sa.exe
  2. Use Google to find a v1.01 exe (europe, usa doesn't matter). It'll be a gta_sa.exe.
  3. Put this into your game files, overwrite the old one and then rename the new gta_sa.exe to gta-sa.exe.
  4. Enjoy removed content and widescreen while still being able to submit a valid run
