i think it would be an interesting addition if milliseconds were added to the timing. perhaps there would be a cap such as any run under 8 minutes would have milliseconds. the record is evolving at such a rate that it is coming down to the millisecond. i'd like to see some takes on this as i think it would be a good idea.

I'm content with seconds and having ties. If we were running on specialized hardware where every run is identical (like Mario on the NES) I'd be inclined to agree with you. But computers vary greatly, and even one run to the next on my machine isn't identical.
