So about probably a year ago my PC broke from a weird error code (it turned off, then it wouldn't load up after that) and since then I've had to use alternative methods for Speed running recording. My question is for this, is it OK if I stream the game, while my phone's camera is pointed at me (I have a mirror behind me so you know I'm actually playing) while my other phone which is visible from the camera records the time? So basically I stream twice, then get those streams back then create my video template with all 3 in one video, then send the video. Now my real question is that, if I were to stream for a few hours but only use my camera for the first 10-20 minutes (because its also being sent to my storage and my phone storage is about 12-18gb normally but high def stream takes allot) but the timer and gameplay keep going? Its kinda confusing but would this work for example I play a game for 2 hours straight but for the first 10 I have my camera on me, then the rest I don't but the gameplay doesn't change at all, would that be OK? Its kinda confusing, sorry.

All you need is a video with your complete playthrough (and a rare few boards don't even require ¤that¤ if the time isn't especially competitive). Just record your gameplay any which way -- doesn't matter if the quality sucks or if there's no timer on screen. Don't worry about including a facecam either, unless your game for some reason requires that. Just do runs and record them. That's all that matters.

No! You neeed to record your full gameplay!

i think the question was about facecam... seems like gameplay and timer would stay intact but only 10 minutes of facecam

SpiderSponge87, can you please stop putting exclamation points at the end of your sentences? It comes across as you're yelling at people.

I mean FeelsSeinfeldMan (you're.....probably all too young to know what I mean by that), but yeah, I swear 90% of his damn sentences end with an exclamation point. They can't all be that interesting!

Shesh, why do you even care like you are an English teacher?

It's not about grammar; it's about properly communicating. Steph- I mean Zach- is saying that putting exclamation points at the end of your sentences makes it sound different than you likely meant it to sound, that's all.
