On improving your own record that is still pending approval

Hi.

I am completely new to speedrunning so yesterday I submitted a time for fun. It is in a game with not a lot of runners so I think they take some time for approval.

My question is, if I have improved on my time since then and want to submit that instead, can I delete the previous video of my run from yesterday and just submit todays? Should I leave both submitted?

I just dont want to do anything wrong that is looked down upon like submitting a run and then deleting the video later (even if i submit an updated run).

Any advice is appreciated

It is generally recommended that you just submit the new run too and leave the previous run in the queue. From the site rules:
If submitting multiple run improvements, it is recommended to create a new submission rather than editing an old submission in order to maintain the history of your runs in the database.
Thanks very much, will do!

My only concern was that the people would get annoyed if i have multiple runs pending approval. They probably only want to watch and approve the best run.

Thank you again though!

@D3V0 There are moderators like that, just given the sheer number on the site, but it's a sign either that they're not very dedicated to the task, or that they're new and haven't yet familiarized themselves with proper practice.

I actually just had a run rejected for being obsolete myself, so I had that quote handy from my pm to the mod in question.
