In Vncz's speedrun three people disconnect, which his over the limit of 2 for solos. Will their run be disallowed?
- Red player disconnected at beginning of the game, hence the X in front of the Red team in the Team list Timestamp: 0:5
- Green disconnects have his bed is broken, which is why it says "green team has eliminated" when nobody final killed them. Timestamp: 0:55
- Yellow disconnects after they final killed Timestamp: 1:54
Wait but it looks like the yellow guy just walks off of his own accord and he's a final kill that's pretty much the same as disconnecting, right? Or am I just dumb and I'm missing something
You're right. In fact four players total disconnect, red, green, yellow, and grey. It may not be immediately clear how grey disconnected however, if you watch closely you will see that they die to a player (not as a final) and disconnect whilst they're in the respawn state and so it wont display the disconnect message. Then when someone breaks grey's bed shortly after it immediately shows in chat "grey team has been eliminated" without any final kill. So even if the yellow final disconnect is in question, the 4th disconnect completely invalidates the run. So, congratulations, you are now officially the rightful current world record solo bedwars win holder.
No problem. I've been going for solo win WR for ages so I have seen the top runs loads of times, but like, the fourth time I watched Vncz's run I counted disconnects and happened to notice a hidden disconnect so I contacted mods.
A complete redo of the rules has been completed!
This was mainly for consistency and to have an updated, easy-to-navigate, and easy-to-understand ruleset.
