Mobile Jumps Timings

  • I am Russian and I use google translator, sorry * hi everybody, i started speedrunning this game about 4 months ago and i already wrote a post about a similar thing. But, really, 4 months have passed and I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL how these fucking jumps work in the mobile version. I'm a Geometry Dash player, it's not a problem for me to click on pixel perfects, but there is one problem that I didn't understand at all how to solve. The thing is that, as I said earlier, jumps in spam can be from 133 ms to 180 ~ ms, and I decided to do that clicker experiment again. I took as a basis a 60 hertz phone, which has a frame of 16, (6) ms, set up the clicker for frames and clicked every frame, with a clamping of 16 ms (there were also 8 and 8), and I found a very strange thing - this clicker I couldn't even beat my record of 4.183 ms, despite the fact that every frame was played by a click. I tried different clicker settings, but after 4.116 I could not get anything, I don’t understand why people can do runs below 4.1 s, but the robot cannot. I noticed two details of the runs that seem to be affecting the runs:
  1. IOS. they have an imaginary 120hz response, this has been personally demonstrated by many Geometry Dash players playing on iOS. It would be interesting to know about runners using 120hz phones.
  2. one of the WRs was achieved using swipes, not clicks, amazingly, I tested this thing and it seemed to me that it is sometimes faster than a click. I ask the participants of this game to help me with these points in the analysis, perhaps the game has some kind of frame rule, such as in mario, that checks whether the player has pressed or not.

new information - i got 4.033 with autoclicker, i use 150 ms delay for it. i tried 133-134 and 100, but i didnt found 150 ms jump, so i think 167 jump is minimum for it. so i think 4.033 is the best time FOR ALL. i got perfect bot clicking and i found perfect time 166.66666 * 24 + 33,3333 ~= 4033 if you have record 150 ms jump, please send it UPD: yea, 4033 is perfect time. we got limit.

Yeah the timing between taps has already been optimized.
