How do you do the E1M4 jump

Example of the jump: I watching this run and the jump seems impossible, I've attempted it a lot with NoMo but I've only successfully done it once. Is there any way to be more consistent?

Russia

it requires sr50 and precise lineup, can't really give more detail

Alright, need to rewatch some successful ones and give it some more tries, thanks. :)

I think there is a way to do it with SR40 but SR50 is the most consistent

The SR40 method requires you to damage yourself with rockets...probably not the safest nor most reliable

These images show how I try to set up the SR50 method, but it still doesn't always work for some reason. It requires a VERY precise angle and full momentum, and bumping into walls will ruin that momentum.

Just gotta practice it more I guess lol

Update, finally hit it thanks to getting inspired to try again from DesuDesuGaming's tips. Going to stress it's a really slow run but I'm happy to finally have done it.

If the edge of the blue platform is perpendicular to the door and the stair case then that setup shows you need a near perfect 45 degree angle.

Russia

that jump is pretty much requires perfect setup, but in individual level run people just wing it

Start this Vid at 1:34, This is a much quicker rout, and you don't have to really set up for the jump

New moderation for Classic Doom/Changes coming soon

Hey everyone so I'm gonna make this short because I have to go to work shortly.

I was made a moderator for the Classic Doom's here on SRC, and there's going to be changes.

  1. All IL's/Episode run categories are going to be removed

This is because DSDA exists. There's no logical reason for I
