Question regarding run submission

Hey so my buddy and I recently got into the Any% Co-op Easy category. We have a run to submit but we messed up and forgot to grab the in game time at the end. This was our PB. Our previous PB we got the in game time soooo I was wondering if we could submit our best PB for the irl time and use the in game time from our previous PB?

Normally we would just try and beat our PB but we won't be hanging out for a quite a while since we live in different towns. And I just like seeing a run up there on the leaderboards you know?

What place on the leaderboard would your best run put you at?

I would include a link to the run with the in game time with my submission of our best time

hey man! welcome to the club. yeah im not too worried about in game time unless you are going for first place, but keep it up! id be glad to go over things with you at some point if you would like.

Thanks :) I will submit then. Ya our main problems i think are the boss fights (accuracy), movement (including d boosting), portal locations, and other little things. We will continue to try and get better. If I have any questions I will let you know.

Yeah if it's not wr then just add it, I doubt anyone would really care

you get used to the movement and stuff. i think once we get below 29 chris and i are gonna relax for a bit. but im glad anyone is trying to do co-op runs! hopefully we get into AGDQ and get some interest in it.

did you submit a run to agdq? because ya that would be hype!!!

yeah, chris and i submitted our coop run, i doubt it'll make the cut. but we figured we'd give it a shot.

I personally only care about in game time when it comes to the rankings. TS2 has an accurate in game timer (as long as you don't use restart from checkpoint) and real time depends slightly on your speed in the menus and by different loading times, which can vary even on the same console. GC and Xbox has way faster loading times so it would be hard to compare real time with PS2.

put in the wrong rta time with my submission, i edited now though. Sorry for confusion

I have started recording runs both co-op and solo. My brother and I have been grinding the co-op any % and have obtained a time that would put us in 3rd. We have not submitted it yet because we both believe we can get a better time. However, we run on a emulator and I was curious if ANY rules have been put in place that would restrict us from bumping up the settings. Turning up anti- aliasing to 8x SSAA, bumping the resolution up to 1080p and turning on anisotropic filtering just to make the game higher visual quality. It seems perfectly harmless to me but I want to make sure there is no obscure rule about that before we continue to grind for 2nd and 1st place. Thanks!

As long as the emulator does not change anything about how the core game runs, using them is fine. Someone who knows the emulator your using and rules better can answer, but for a quick answer now, those are visual changes and not an issue.
