But why we have to die to get a time for Top50% and Top10% ? It would be better only to "enter" these sections. We could time it exactly on the "50 players remaing" screen.

This way you have to decide in a very good run "do I go for the win or do I die immediatly on 10" ? Would be better if you go for the win and die on #2 you can use this run for Top10. I dont like I have to decide and lose the game by my own.

Maybe I got the rules wrong but I guess there is something like "enter the top 50 AND lose the game". So why? :)

Edit: To make it clear: In my opinion time should stop if the "X players remaining" screen is shown for Top50 and Top10, and not when iam losing

I choose that stop timer because you must show the leaderboard at the end. If you want the stop timer when the game shows " X player remaining" it's ok I'll change it but in the video you must show the leaderboard otherwise the run won't be valid. If you agree with that I'll change stop time

Yeah thats fine for me and I guess for everyone else too.

This way we can just play a game - go for the win - get the times at the 'X players remaining'-screen and use the run for multiple categories and we dont have to die to get a faster time!

This seems to make much more sense than the current timing method. A change would make running this game much more fun I guess.

If you all agree with that I'll change stop time and modify all runs

It is better so we all can focus on winning the game :D

I also suggested to add tetris99 to tetris series at all and have some experience on speedrun.com. Iam mod on some games so if you need additional mods for tetris99 I would help you :)

If not it is fine for me as long as we switch the stop time in general ;)

Edit: And I guess its better to switch now and not after 100 runs are submitted
