I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I have a run that would be obsolete if it is approved, but I mistakenly approved the faster time first. Is there any way that we, as game moderators, can go back and approve older times, or in the alternative, have the times sorted by oldest first by default?

Can you delete the run you approved and then resubmit both of them in the desired order?

I’m not sure what the issue is. Unless I’m mistaken, if you approve a run that is obsoleted nothing bad happens, the run just becomes obsoleted. I think that regardless of the order in which they are approved, an obsolete run will still be obsolete.

I could be mistaken, but I thought I remember people saying it worked that way a while back when a similar topic came up.

Someone submitted two runs for the same category. Because they were submitted one right after the other, I was looking at the (current) World Record run and approved it first. However, this user submitted a run that would be obsolete if I had a bit of foresight and dealt with it first rather than the current WR run that I can't approve because I approved the WR run first.

I was simply wondering if this is bug, or if there is a way to view the runs in the order of oldest first so that I don't have to deal with a notification again.

I guess I’m still confused how there’s a problem or a bug here. Nothing is preventing you from approving the obsoleted run (Unless the site somehow doesn’t let you approve an obsolete run which would be new to me since I’ve had obsolete runs approved in the past when I forgot to submit PBs). What you’ve described is something that probably happens frequently when users are improving their times fast. Just approve both runs - regardless of the order your approve them in, the WR will still be WR and the obsolete run will still be obsolete. There shouldn’t be any additional notifications or problems or anything.

If I’m still missing something then sorry about that, but it all seems pretty straightforward to me based on what you’ve described. I guess sorting submissions by time regardless of the order they were submitted by makes sense, but because the site knows when a run is obsolete it doesn’t really matter or change anything.

Hey guys, posted this in discord but for better visibility / going through more proper channels I’ll post it here.

Bit of a pedantic bug but on the sonic mania IL leaderboards, some users with long names are causing a scrollbar to appear on the board - even at max width. a css property of overflow-x: hidden on the usernames would fix this. Thanks.

lol there's a few issues like this on the site at the moment, I guess it's just a series of oversights when the site was designed...

Perhaps something to be considered for an overhaul in the ux redesign.

We have a weird bug where the site tries to convert the word "number" to an emoji in the rules of Jak 1 No LTS. I have been unable to fix this. Is an administrator able to have a look at this?

This appears differently depending on the browser (it's pretty obnoxious in chrome, for example) but is of course visible in the source code if it isn't visible on the one you use.

Every time I try to reject a run I get redirected to a Chrome error screen saying something along the lines of "The site cannot handle this request."

Just a couple of very minor typo fixes:

In Edit game -> Extra variables/subcategories -> Options

"User Defined" changed to "User-defined" "Values obsolete eachother" changed to "Values obsolete each other"

When there are too many categories you can't see the WR history as it's way too small then. Example: https://www.speedrun.com/mk8dx/gamestats /edit: And by changing the window size the text and WR history overlap.

@Demo It's not a mention, just a link to the page. So you're not missing out too much.

Anywho, got a small small bug. I'm affiliated with a few marathons, and sometimes we have a guy doing runs for us, @RDVvsTheWorld However, whenever we put him in our schedule, his name is not clickable. The fix that I found (and only one I tried, since I don't want to edit the schedule too much), is capitalizing the second V aswell ( @RDVVsTheWorld ).

Priority: lower than the lowest low

Sorry if this has been brought up before and I'm missing it...

So I submitted a few runs a few days ago, for the game WCW/nWo Revenge, and they have seemingly been approved as they no longer show up in my "runs awaiting verification" tab when highlighting the hourglass icon, nor were they rejected. However, they aren't showing up on the game's leaderboard and if I actually click on the hourglass, it shows as if they were not verified. Additionally, on the main site (showing newest runs) the game I run is at the very top with 4 runs, most of which are a year old or older.

As a kicker, I just (as in yesterday) got added as a verifier for this game. When clicking on the runs themselves, I get the standard "a moderator must verify this run" message, however no actions show up that would allow me to do so.

Has this happened before? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

European Union

You currently have 4 runs pending for that game, as verifier you cannot verify your own runs - so another moderator has to do that for you.

there is no bug or anything happening here.

Alright, fair enough on the self-verification thing - but still, it appears that they were verified, as they don't actually show up as needing to be verified unless I do some digging on it, if that makes sense. And, again, it's still showing a few old runs, from other players for the same game, as if they've just been verified now. It could very well be something on my end, just not sure what that is.

For what it's worth if I log out those old runs disappear from the top of the newest runs list, though mine still don't appear on the leaderboard.

When choosing in WR history a level that nobody has played, the chart remains and console writes "TypeError: i.data.datasets is undefined". Maybe the list directly don't contain empty level please?

I found a solution for listening the Twitch videos; I spam the play button until the video start.

Pages specifically for deleted users (I noticed this when clearing out a bot account) don't seem to load anymore, instead returning a blank page. This is reported as an HTTP 500 in Chrome.
