How can I apply for mod?

Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way for me to apply for mod so I could make a category for me to moderate this is the category idea:

I have a idea for a new Muck speedrun category

Workbench%

speedrun to get and place a workbench

Rules:

  1. You need to show menu screen when creating a world

  2. Workbench needs to placed not obtained

  3. Time starts when you spawn and ends when you place workbench

(singleplayer) can only be completed by yourself

And there can be furnace% and anvil% as well

same rules but change workbench to furnace or anvil

you cannot "request mod", you can only gain the trust and convince the existing mods to add you as one. However, we aren't even looking for any mods at the moment, so that doesn't matter either way. But you can always request categories, and if they're good enough we will add it.

yea i think if any moderation help is needed it will be announced somewhere (discord / forum) and you will be able to apply that way.

just a question, how did you guys become mods if no mods existed, also did you reject some runs because someone was cheating

I dont think anyone has been spotted to cheat. Jjen requested the leaderboard so thats why he is mod. The others were already known and trusted members in another community about a game by the same developer. They all showed great interest in running and moderating muck so they were added. Correct me if im wrong

Some people unknowingly submitted runs that were not legal and we had to reject those but we havent found anyone who has cheated and hopefully we never will
