This is an odd request and I understand if it gets declined as it doesn't fit the criteria for getting modded. It's just been really frustrating to deal with.
I run games in the Bloody Roar series and mod two of its entries (3 and 4). However, the boards for 1 and 2 are modded by someone else. (Well, 2 is modded by two people but one hasn't been active in a very long time.) Said mod actively streams, responds to DMs, logs in to SRC every two or three weeks or so and will post on forums now and then. That's the good news. However, said mod also has not implemented important changes and doesn't seem to understand how the game they're moderating works. For example:
-Has the boards for both games set to real time, even though one entry has an accurate and highly visible in-game timer. -Did not know the difference between a cheat and a regular option for breakable walls. -Has no Arcade category for the second game, one of the primary modes of play, even though it has an in-game timer. -Needed it pointed out that "New Game+" is not a thing in these games. It's still listed as a rule for some reason. -Refuses to add said category because not many people will submit times for it, despite other categories for other games being empty and the series as a whole being very niche. -Makes no category distinction between emulated and console runs, despite being shown evidence of a significant difference in load times. -Needed it pointed out that the listed platforms and dates for said games were wrong and still hasn't fixed them. Before another mod was added to it, the release date for BR4 was over 10 years off. -Prior to another mod being added for it, held the top time for Bloody Roar 3 in a category that required specific damage and AI settings (4, 4). This run started with upping the damage and turning the AI all the way down, blatantly breaking that rule.
I don't think the mod is being outright malicious so much as either being in over their head or unwilling to dedicate time to it. These and other issues have been brought up to the mod multiple times over the past five to six months or so but nothing has changed, and it's starting to alienate potential runners.
Hello, im requesting to moderate https://www.speedrun.com/raccoo_venture as both moderators created their accounts 5 months ago and havent been online since. Me and a couple of others want to submit some runs but both mods are inactive and the layout of the page is bad. The icon of the game isnt even correct.

@SCXCR - I'll try to discuss this with the current moderator(s) of those games and have them properly address these issues.
@ExpertRunner64 - Yeah I don't really know what you're expecting here. Frankly you should be grateful they're bothering to actually verify your run at all, they'd be well within their rights to reject that on the spot considering the extreme length (I'm personally a huge proponent of verifying runs regardless of how long/suboptimal they are, and even I would probably reject that). Anyway, I can keep an eye on this and make sure something happens to it eventually, but don't expect a miracle.
@Mouks123 - If/when you submit a run make another post here and we can consider your request at that time. Also, you would need to enable Email Authentication in your account settings before you can be added as a moderator to anything.

Hi, I'm posting regarding a game called Garshasp: Temple of the Dragon ( https://www.speedrun.com/garshasp_temple_of_the_dragon ). I submitted a run for this game over two months ago, however it has not been verified. The mod has been online since this submission, however it has been over a month since any activity from him. Moreover, although he has been somewhat active in the past, most of the recent submissions have been taking much longer than 21 days to get verified, and one run (3rd place run by GlennTheJanitor) took a whole 9 months to get approved, so this is clearly not a one-time situation. As such, I DM'd him on SRC and Twitch (the only two platforms that I could DM him on) to see what we could work out, but it has been over a week and he has not responded.
While my primary goal would be to get my own run verified, this is clearly not a long-term solution, so I would like to be a moderator for this game. I already have some experience moderating a handful of other games, plus I check SRC daily, so I could verify any runs promptly after submission. Also, there has recently been some discussion about a rule in the game's forums, so as a mod I could implement this (as well as any other future queries that the community might have) to the official game rules, which is very unlikely to get done with the current state of things.

Hello, for the game Granny (the mobile version) the moderator GODCHUECO, who is the only moderator for Granny, has not been verifying runs. It has been two weeks since I submitted my runs. He has been online yet he hasn't verified anyone's runs, I am not the only one who is having this issue, another person submitted their runs 6 months ago and their runs have not been verified yet. Could you give me some advice on how to resolve this please?
Edit: Forgot to mention I messaged him on speedrun but I have not received a reply. I also recently messaged him today on discord, so if I don't get a reply there either I don't know what to do.

Hello, I've submitted a run to https://www.speedrun.com/tf2/full_game (tf2) And it's been a month since then. There were already forum posts about moderators not veryfing runs in time. I want to beacome a moderator/Super-mod for that game since there are probably other runs that are not verified and are waiting for weeks.
