Language Options
If you are an SMS or SMG speedrunner you can click off of this form. I wanted to do an SM64 120-star speedrun and I was wondering what the fastest language is to minimize the amount of text like in SMO.
It is fast, but don't go through a bunch of hassle for it, it only saves 3 seconds or so according to the SM64 speedrunning discord (the "or so" only accounts for tenths).

Okay, new development: Japanese text doesn't reduce the number of textboxes, it just changes the scroll speed. According to some mods, Japanese has slower scroll speed on shindou (which 3das emulates), so you'd be better off playing on english. Sorry for the misinformation monkaS
