PC Keybinds
Connecticut, USA

I am looking at running this game in the future on PC, but I use a controller to play (Logitech F310). On keyboard, the Spacebar allows you to initiate and confirm skipping a cutscene, but I cannot find the correlating key in the Keybind section and no button on the controller seems to do this. Does anyone know how to set the controller up to allow for cutscene skipping from the controller itself?

United Kingdom

On console, the skip cutscene function is lumped in with the pause button, so I'd wager if you can't bind a dedicated skip to controller, see if the pause button works. (I'm not on PC so I unfortunately can't confirm anything)

Let me test this out, will follow up in a minute. Also, on a side note, if anyone does play on PC do they happen to know how to back up a save file? That way I can keep 1 (main) save file for Dream Log and then do the load reset whenever I want to do Any%.

Ok, from just a couple minutes of testing it doesn't look like the game is letting me change my keybinds on the F310. However, I did find that I could disable all video features (new and old levels) by disabling the video playback option (Preferences -> Graphics Settings). In the event that you need to replay levels, it also looks like you can disable story events (Game Settings -> Discovered Story Events). As of now, the only things I seem to need to skip is the pre-level screen with all the dialogue bubbles. Still need to do more testing to see if the Discovered Story Events option effects new events as well as events from previous stages, and specifically which story events or videos it effects.

United Kingdom

'Discovered story events' encompasses dialogue bubble events (where the [...] bubble appears above the character's head) and treasure events that have already been seen. regular cutscenes will still trigger and need to be skipped manually. Previously unseen events will still trigger and have to be skipped. On a fresh save, that will be all of them.

If the PC version can just straight up turn off cutscenes altogether, consider me envious!

Yea, if you go to "Preferences -> Graphics Settings" on PC you can disable video options, which prevents story VODs from playing. These seem to include the story text before all (new & old) missions, story cutscenes before missions, etc. Unsure if it includes treasure events and such, as I haven't gone that in-depth with testing atm.

United States

I have a pc and been meaning to get the game to test some stuff out. You can disable the VODs as mentioned (a friend showed me this.) I believe Treasure events do not count but do not quote me on that

Due to recent datamining we have concluded that the centiseconds used by the games results IGT are made up by cloning the minutes converted to seconds. So future runs will have their centiseconds for each stage considered as 0. This only affects categories timed with IGT.
