http://www.dependencywalker.com/ ctrl+o -> SA launcher -> f9 there should be a path to dinput8.dll, that u had put in sa folder

1. if it isnt, then just put dinput8 in directories that make sense, i assume u have multiple SA, ramdisk etc
2. if it is, and it doesnt help, then cut it from that directory and replace the one located in windows/system32 (backup original =) )

in dependancy walker-> file-> close -> ctrl+o sa launcher again, just to make sure it loads from windows/system32

I just use the mouse fix ASI (needs an ASI loader too, I use Silent's ASI Loader) and also have the game limited to 1 core too just for safety. ;)

Right clicking the .exe and disabling both Visual Themes and Desktop composition does the trick for me.

I never hear people say to disable both, only just one of them.
