Help with 'In-Game Time'

Any speedrunner/moderator, I need help with how to know the in-game time(need it to fill my first run's submission), I am new to speedruns of Stardew Valley.

- This kinda helps, but doesn't show everything since I already had some of it downloaded. In future, try joining the Discord channel since you can get help much faster (and there are other resources there) :)

edit - Also, you don't need to have igt, but it is nice to have.

Hey, Thanks Chikorita but I am an android Speedruner, took speedrunning seriously a few days ago

Ah, for android you can't do much for timers, especially igt. Igt is limited to only pc players (no console/phone). Phone is perfectly fine to do runs on, but if you want "competitive" times I'd suggest trying to get the game for pc on a steam sale.

Chikorita, Please Take your time to read this,You, Haboo, Blade and a few others were my main inspiration, I've had a lot of practice animation cancellation and a few other things in speedruns of Stardew Valley, but you see even after spending months and like 2-3 hours a day playing Stardew on Pc I was no match for good speedrunners. About a year ago I was playing on PC i quit speedrunning. But, like 8 months ago I started playing Stardew on Mobile and I have 400-500 hours in the game(I don't play on my PC much anymore). And, I see this opportunity to speedrun Stardew on Android even if there is no competetive feeling to it there is & no actual serious speedrunner, or no one is interested. I want to have 10 Stardew World Records☺️ Now, I really need help with understanding a few things with why & how, good speedrunners do certain things,(On PC I could copy their strat but not here)as everything is different on Mobile, And Co-Op doesn’t exist.Do you know anyone that could help me with this? Or can you add me on discord Udoy#4741. Thanks for taking your time to read this & BTW i've already submitted a Vault% Speedrun.

The only difference is mobile runs on version 1.4.5. You can fairly easily sort the leaderboards by version and watch runs that use 1.4. The only notable difference will be that PC runners use/used 1.4.0 because 1.4.1 significantly nerfed explosive ammo to require level 8 combat and cost 300 gold each at the adventurers guild. Other than that any run you find on the leaderboard that is run on version 1.4 should be essentially identical. Also most 1.5 categories have no difference between their 1.4 counterparts. If you still want advice or better understanding about why certain runners do certain things I would highly recommend asking in the stardew speedrun discord, there are many people who are willing to help there.

Thank You

Sorry for the last response Ralph, I was did 2 Perfection runs back to back so was preoccupied lol

Your year of play with (no) results just depends on what you're doing in that playtime. It can be down to some natural skill, but I'd be curious to see what skills you thought you didn't improve much on. Sometimes receiving feedback on a run can help tell you how to improve. I always saw what others did in their videos and I took some of those ideas to my own play.

With what you say for "need help understanding", like Ethan said, join the Discord and ask :) if someone can catch you in a stream and comment as you play that is sometimes better than just commenting on watching a video. Live feedback/feedback you can practice right away/remember is useful. Example - I watched a clay farming video from Bulltg and immediately went to practice it. It's easy to read something, think you understand, and then not know how to act on it (without some sort of practice put in).

1.6 Leaderboard Updates

Alright folks, it's been a week since 1.6 dropped and it's already been a wild start! So many new mechanics, QoL fixes, and general nonsense. We're going to start lifting the embargo here on 1.6 runs, sometime tonight the options should populate on SRC and you'll be able to select the new version. W
