Used 5GKKK-MLKRF-3KDP5

Cheers.

This is really fun for now, but quick word of warning that I don't see this having much longevity.

Clearly, each level has a 'solution' that is just the correct series of inputs, and due to the fact that I've already coined onto inputs getting queued, all it takes is for someone to figure out each stage's solution in terms of a series of inputs, then perform those inputs faster than the game tracks movement. Then the stage solution plays itself out.

This is somewhat limited by the stages that use disappearing-block cycles, but I would not be surprised if someone solves and optimises this game very fast.

Case in point:

I believe the best time for stage 1 is 0.31, and for stage 2 it's 0.72

used BDT6Z-5ILWH-FK8DM, haven't played it yet, it's installing right now.

Sounds good, hope you enjoy. I'll mark them off.

@Drakodan I definitely know what you're saying, however, I don't know how far along you are but some of the later levels get way more complicated. I'm not even sure myself of the best way to beat them. Also, I hope that the "build/world" feature of playing other peoples levels and creating your own will give players plenty to do after beating the game. Plus there's the local multiplayer for people who are in to that. Those are the things I'm relying on to make the game last beyond just beating all the levels I created. Oh, and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far :)

R57FG-8FGWF-AYPEE Looks interesting :)

@Drakodan : 'Tip for anyone struggling with sections that require you to move very quickly: You can move with both the WASD and direction keys, and inputs will stack AND be buffered in a queue.' Already found out yesterday plox. 'Clearly, each level has a 'solution' that is just the correct series of inputs' Endgame levels don't work like that tho'. Even when you know the solution, you have to grind to exec it without choking and in rythm.

Mate, this game is, what, days old? Someone will get the game to that point with enough application. I'm not saying that's what the current state of the game is, I'm saying it's what the logical conclusion WILL be.

Individual levels will get to the point of being solved, but I'm skeptical of a full run being done optimally. It could happen but I don't know if anyone would actually get that run.

Yeah I'm with you there. Like yes, of course it would just be about discovering the correct series of button presses and repeating that. But the same could be said about a game like Guitar Hero. Technically it's just about repeating the correct series of timed button presses, but actually being able to execute that flawlessly is a different thing.

Sounds good, hope you enjoy :)

Anyone else visiting, feel completely free to take a key. If this batch runs out I'll post another, I plan on giving keys to anyone in this community until the game gets released. ❤

Maybe we can make a best time table sometime. I was sure I had optimzied the first two stages ... Might do a key macro run sometime.

my best times (no macro tool) level 1 - 0.32 (wr: 0.31) level 2 - 0.75 (wr: 0.72) level 3 - 1.65 level 4 - 2.50 level 5 - 5.19 level 6 - 6.72 level 7 - 10.45 level 8 - 1.92 level 9 - 8.49 level 10 - 7.69

I would have liked if the game had more elements, like in that old vintage game I posted: shooters, teleporters, enemies moving on the platforms, etc

In the name of science, I've managed to successfully use a macro tool to test the (supposedly) fastest time possible for each level. :D I got up to lvl49 so far. I have to leave now, but will share my timings within the next days.

Nice MasterFocus, I would actually be very interested to see how fast a perfect macro could beat the game :P

Not sure if I'll be able to finish this before next weekend, but here's my work in progress. (this video shows the TIMINGS ONLY - I'll upload a proper "run" when I get 100%)
