Why not skip Paramonia in Any%? You have invulnerability, and the game seems fairly similar in terms of level design.

Also what do you do in Paramonia that tricks the game into thinking you completed Scrabania?

And why the save quit before the huge ascend in the Paramite run?

It is quicker to skip Scrabania than it is to skip Paramonia.

You need to load a checkpoint on the first save slot on where you see the two lights lit up on completing Paramonia and Scrabania. Then you start a run on either the second or third save slot.
