If you want to see the world record for a particular platform, the site has a built in filtering system for that. I don't think creating separate subcategories for each individual platform is a good idea, it would just create a lot of clutter. If there was ever going to be any sort of split, it likely would just be PC/Console, like City and Origins have done.
I personally don't think they should be split. It's fundamentally the same run on every platform, the only difference being load times (as far as I know, nobody's measured the load variance on any platform so it's unclear exactly how much of a difference that makes) and in the case of Any% and 100%, mousewheel usage. Furthermore, I think there's only like 3-4 semi-active console runners for the entire series and I don't recall any of them having expressed concerns over the boards still being combined here.
If people want better times then go PC for free PB since its out and its faster. Most people should have the option to go PC and there's no bs with patches or a very demanding title compared to other releases today. Cluttering up the board with 5 different versions of the game is the last thing I wanna see.
There is one somewhat active console runner for Any% and another for No Major Skips. If there were more console runners then yeah I would be open for a split in the boards. As of now there is no point
I've just updated the autosplitter to add auto splits for all the backtracking segments in 100%. Everything in the 100% and 100% Glitchless splits that was previously marked as "[Manual]" is now automatic. Also, the Sewer backtrack split will now happen when you leave the sewer instead of when you r
