In the iOS version of the game, you can buy boosts to help you.
Would those be allowed or are they banned?
Boosts give an unfair advantage over other platforms if they're used.
I haven't added other versions of the game yet, but yes, boosts are banned. All runs on separate versions will go into separate categories when someone posts a run on that version for the first time.
Maybe add subcategories for boosts/no boosts with iOS when someone does a run for it? Or would that be too confusing?
based on my experience with the game, boosts are given for free once you install, and are paid for after your supply is extinguished (idk if the count resets for every file). Adding a price tag for every run would give an unfair advantage not only to iOS players, but to rich players as well. imo the same would go for ad Boosts
