I am curious as to whether or not there is a class for ports of games such as ff9 on the Nintendo switch?

Can I record times playing super Mario bros 3 on my Nintendo switch?

Is there a separate category?

Welcome! These questions are better posted in the forums of their respective games. Each community is different on how they separate ports.

You'll need to clarify in the FF9 forums on how they handle the Switch Port. They list it in their platforms list but thus far no one seems to have done a run on it. FF9 Leaderboard: https://www.speedrun.com/ff9/full_game
