Level Timing?

I'm just wondering when should I stop the timer in Individual levels, because level rules specify the full game and not the level itself?

I'm not a moderator, but I say yes do that. When one of the Mods at the time added the timing rules for the game, they must've copied and pasted the Any% run rules over to the IL Any% runs. I say start the time when you press "start assignment", like in the written rules, and stop timing when you lose control of your character. Do follow the Red Brick rule. If you have a better timing method then use that instead.

I would like to join and do all the IL's. How are we going to do with the superbuilds? I think we should allow banking bricks like the Mario Galaxy 2 community allow "Banktoad" for starbits.

By that you mean have as many Bricks as you like before starting the level?

I think that's what he means, and I agree that's how it should be done.

Yes. The alternative would be to say that you need to collect as many superbricks as you need to build for that level. For example in the mine you would need two 10k bricks and two 1k bricks to build the linecar or what ever it is called.

For the replay story, does the game add the super bricks back into the level, and do the builds revert back to unbuilt? For now I'm going to presume they revert back.

I have changed the IL categories, with Any% BB and No BB categories, so that players can choose which they wish to play. The timing is now when you gain and lose control of the characters at the start and end of the level.

The game reverts back to original, except for the red bricks, gold bricks, and unlockables.

Okay then, I'll leave the IL categories as they are for now. One with Brick Banking, one without.
