I assume if there's any difference that we'll have a category for it otherwise I figured submit a run and put a note that it's run on the switch in the submission for now

No, you cannot use this version as per the new rules.

Hopefully a new tab will be added for the Disney Classic version soon :)!

Will it be added as a new tab?

This is the solution that needs to be done in order for people to be able to speed run it.

Not to nitpick but we need an Any% Lion King N Easy an Any% Lion King N Hard as well as both Switch and Steam console select as they both emulate it a bit differently. There is also no reason for this to be under Misc, too (I mean I guess it can be, but we still need both difficulties and the fact that it's Lion King N specified. Just DCG could lead to Lion King S being submit, which belongs over with Sega).

Like I said before, if you aren’t willing to actually moderate this forum and are just here to antagonize, let someone help that actually is passionate about the game. Adding a tab that just says DCG is a bit lazy and ridiculous and I think you knew that.

There are some reasons why DCG should not be allowed to be submitted to the original SNES leaderboard. One reason is good enough. Basically, it's a different system altogether. Now, since it is essentially the same game, I believe it deserves a spot on the board, as it is now, under Misc.. I don't really understand the confusion here. If you run the game on this new version, and are not happy with this decision, then you are free to create a new SR page specifically for that version. I'm not at all trying to sound like a dick or anything. I love this game, i have been a part of this community for a long time. Been speedrunning this game for about 5 years now. Trust me, I think it's great that it has grown to this size, and "remakes" and "remasters" are absolutely great, but i honestly do not agree that the runs should be on the same board. I also offer any help to anyone that needs it, with tech/movement. Just hit me up. Remember: Hakuna Matata my friends :)

Also, can I get a link to the discord? I really had no idea there was one. I'm not really up to date with all the social networks. I just got into discord about a year ago. and i'm still trying to figure it out HAHAHA

@poisoncurls - I did ask to add a new game and was rejected and told that the runs should have their own tab on this board, hence the push to get them added here. It should have the normal categories of Hard and Easy, not just "DCG". I absolutely agree that it needs its own category, but it also needs Hard and Easy, NOT just "DCG."

This is what is needed -

Tab - "Any% DCG: The Lion King N Easy" "Any% DCG: The Lion King N Hard" Platforms - Steam and Switch need added. I will be doing some testing with @BinaryDragon on if the Steam and Switch are emulated differently from each other.

It needs to specifically say The Lion King N, as DCG has like 5 versions of The Lion King in it, including the Sega version (The Lion King S).

@AlfredoSalza

Just bringing attention to above :) Would really appreciate it to not be considered a misc run (shouldn't have to toggle something to have a run in this category appear, it's no less valid_, and to have hard and easy included. Almost like what Aladdin Sega did, for example. https://www.speedrun.com/aladdin_genesis#Disney_Classic_Games - instead of Any% and All Stages, it would be Any% Easy and Any% Hard
