I think the problem would be, how do other people know that the mods you're using only affect the visuals (not the gameplay)?

depends on the mod dark mode is allowed, custom fruit is allowed removing snake parts using deletestuff mod is weird but it is only visuals so it sounds like it should be allowed (custom snakes in the future? who knows) although I haven't seen anyone submit anything with it, so it needs to be discussed

more menu mod is obviously not allowed, at least not anything that actually changes gameplay custom apple counts? not allowed custom speeds? not allowed custom board sizes? not allowed

If in doubt, @SlabSpeedruns , just don't use mods at all. Officially, anything that doesn't change the behavior of the game is allowed, but there is a line to be drawn at visuals that make the run unwatchable and unverifiable; a line that is hard to see for new runners and adventurous modders. But if you really must include Eldritch horrors as part of your speedruns, we can't do anything to stop you, other than quietly rejecting them if we think it's too much.

Monkeytron, the mods he's talking about are made by people in the community and the mods are aware of them and what they do so as long as its a purely visual mod like dark mode then your runs will get accepted
