I was running a level in Super Mario Maker 2 and I realized that the quality of the capture card was ok.... Does anyone know a capture card that can record in 1080p? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/731638814078140528/731638848320307360/Annotation_2020-07-11_172904.png

I'd recommend the Elgato HD60 S! It records in 1080P 60FPS!

Your video might also be improved if you don't change the aspect resolution of your feed.

There's lots of capture cards out there, Elgato is a popular brand. Cards can get expensive, however.

Yea. Elgato is worth the price imo.

Avermedia or Startech

I've heard of AverMedia for their capture cards on a thread made by same guy.

@Yonally, I feel like blindly recommending a capture card to OP is not the best idea.

@Andrew360 what do you want exactly? An internal or external capture card? What sources do you want to capture? Budget? Any preferences on brands or brands you want to completly avoid?

A external capture card that can record the Nintendo Switch at 1080p. I have a HD60 Elgato capture card so Elgato would be a brand that i'm used to and that I would prefer. A capture card under $170 would be affordable for me.

That capture card should be able to record in 1080p. This seems like it is a setup problem. I assume this is a screenshot from your stream? Could you screenshot the OBS preview?
