As with Harry Potter 1-4 in the main menu there is a leaderboard category... and on the levels it is the times (from what I have seen replay story times.) With replay story, you still have to deal with cutscenes though you can skip them... though you waste about an average of 1 second skipping them. As with the official leaderboards in the game (only for replay story I believe do the cutscenes count towards you end time???)
Ok... I know it was confusing but in the menu there is a leaderboard and on that leaderboard they show times for Replay story, for all the levels. (As I did a level in replay story and my new improved time showed up on the leaderboard in the menu) Since it’s replay story that is being timed on the leaderboard, and there are cutscenes in replay story I was wondering when you hit a cutscene, the time stops or it keeps going. (I play Xbox 360, and in the menu when you hit Xbox live there is another subcategory with the leaderboards I know it’s confusing but I feel like if the cutscenes do count to your end time, it ruins your time as you have to spend .5-1.5 seconds skipping them. Thanks
Ok I test if cutscenes count in replay mode on the leaderboards and they don’t (I checked time with cutscenes and times it on a stopwatch on my phone 2 minutes of cutscenes... and the time they gave me at the end was a different time without the cutscene time included... if that makes sense sorry I know I’m confusing lol
I know with your replay story run, the cutscenes did count as the timer kept running, but I’m talking about the official leaderboard in the game where I realized the timer stops and doesn’t include cutscene times, (just annoyed me as sometimes I skip cutscenes not fast enough)
On Xbox 360 in the main menu when you start the game there is 3 category’s appear after you hit “press start button” which are:
New game Load game Xbox live View trailer
When you hit Xbox live, 5 new category’s appear with at the very bottom “view leaderboards” (I think the leaderboards only display Xbox 360’s player score) has stud totals, level times etc
This is what I was talking about as official leaderboard
I know I have no video evidence but it shows time at end of level and I hit 1:57.32 at the end of magic begins... it’s a precise level
Speedruns of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 done on the LEGO Harry Potter Collection have been moved to their own board, found here:
All future runs done on the Collection should be submitted to that board instead of this one.
