GBA EMU

I wish I can get my Bizhawk working properly without the game music stutter and slight lag and stutter movement (input) out of the way, I know VBA emu is banned. So I can't find other EMU to run it without having it deny my Dark Wizard run as I'm trying to route it out to get the fastest time. DS EMU makes the same way like Bizhawk. So......yea....I can't run it if I can't find the other way to do this but my thought only is MAMEhub which they have that but I don't know if that is allowable and usable unless you have a suggestion to have me try the other GBA emulation. Any suggestion?

Who's banned VBA? I've heard it has issues but the Pokemon community allows VBA-M (a fork of VBA), SRL recommends VBA 1.7.2 for racing, and I can't find anything that says VBA is banned. Bizhawk uses VBA-Next's code for its GBA emulation, too.

My top 3 would probably be Bizhawk, then VBA-M, then Retroarch for doing GBA.

Maybe you're thinking of the ban on VBA for running Classic Gameboy games. VBA's Classic GB code is awful and runs the game noticeably faster, but that's classic GB only.

Hmmmm....I remember reading the SRL rules saying VBA and VBA-M are banned because of the speed option and the frame or something that is very innaccurate. Also, runners mentioned those too about how innaccurate it is. I guess I should go to VBA-M and luckily it is 1.7.2

Retroarch?? I haven't checked that one...

VBA-M is the only banned GBA emu listed on SRL. VBA is recommended on the same rules page. VBA is also the emulator packed in with Bizhawk, a multi-emulator designed to be as accurate as possible for TASing.
