Skipping Dynamo Trick

Not sure how well known this is, but I don't see it in any RTA runs. Lets you skip turning on the generator and that entire segment of the first floor.

So; i used a method that is reproducable in a marathon pretty easily. Its not the best for it but it is a way to do it;

The idea is based off the TAS i saw that skipped it. You can follow the motions pretty well from where I try it the first time. If you do it perfectly, You will need to enter the door wait 10-15frames then push up. It'll work. Otherwise, the backup will always work from a pushed state.

Basically, its a recovery option.

Combat Call is ~10s, i had a script to look up and display the combat call meter, and I'll attach it after I refine it (give me some days I work as a programmer so it can be hard to come home to do it again).

Important notes: ¤ Changing directions is SLIGHTLY SLOWER than walking in straight directions. if you wiggle or snake too much you can drop frames and miss it, but if you do it "perfect" you'll need to wait. ¤ Don't worry about time spent in menus, the call timer is PAUSED during that (you'll see it in the script). So just aim to make clean menus, speed isn't required, precision is more important. ¤ You can buffer menu options when you want to do face -> Menu to avoid some frame loss.

I can get the first skip consistently...granted, when I get back to this run I will be rusty, so I can't say that anymore, the second skip is harder for me to pull off (good chance not enough practice/grinding)

Also in regards to using the mallet early on the bolder (just finished watching the Best of Nes run) I have that on my route already, it allows me to get to keep the pills for a longer time....I think I drop the mallet in favour for the pulley...? I cannot remember....but yea, kill the bolder early, open an item spot earlier :3
