I know...but:

1.) The layout should have been reverted for the time being while the new one gets fixed.

2.) Don't ship a new layout and break the site while the SGDQ is running.

A minor issue I have with the new design is the fact that there's no comment section when viewing the leaderboards. I find it interesting to read runner's thoughts, and having to hover over every run I want to read the comment of just to find out if they commented is an unnecessary inconvenience.

Also, the notifications bug mentioned before is very annoying. I have 17 alerts (and counting) that I've already read, but can't get rid of.

Gonna bullet point my issues for brevity. Some are repeats of what others are saying but its worth noting how many people disagree, not just what they disagree with.

¤ Notifications don't go away. ¤ Comment and Edit icons removed from runs removes functionality, would prefer them back. ¤ Top overlay/bar/thing is too large, could easily be the height of the logo with no loss of info/usage. ¤ Too much empty space literally everywhere. Having to swivel my head to look between times and runners is silly. ¤ The added options when you click your own username are very rarely used and would serve better being within the profile page. I prefered being able to click my own username and going straight to my profile page. ¤ (this may have been like this before the layout change but) the filters box is fucking huge when you're on a series page. Could really do with having all those options in dropdown boxes. ¤ (edited in afterwards.) Hovering over runs only shows the first line/section of the run's comment, rather than the entire comment. Considering this was a hover over menu, seems like an odd thing to shorten. I prefered being able to see the entire comment without having to go into the run page itself.

I appreciate the effort that must have gone into this update, but it feels like a rushed, unwanted update pushed early to catch the sgdq crowd. It's also annoying when other, more basic site features have been on the backburner for a while, like IGT options for leaderboards, removal of seconds for IGT leaderboards for games that have IGT in minutes only (looking at pokemon here), etc.

Suggestion: Make it so the "View Rules" and any other drop-down window like that can be customized via the leaderboard's "Edit Theme" section, allowing mods to change the font color, window background, and header background (color and/or graphical). This would allow those windows to look less out of place.

It would be best to just rollback everything. I like categories as tabs and filters in dropdown menus, but everything else is worse.

And you should've only changed the layout for mobile users and kept the old layout for others...

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but in some games, the moderators' names cut into the runs. In Mario Super Sluggers, for example, SonicBoomSensei's name is partially obstructed by a run instead of being below the other two mods.

i hope everyone realise that they will NOT go back to the old layout, stop saying you want to old one and actually point them out the bugs to get them fixed.

I agree with MeowMixForMeAndYou, the search bar is broken, notifications are also broken, and the leaderboards are slightly broken.

Why not have both the old and new layouts available in the settings? Those who prefer the old can use the old, and those who prefer the new can use the new.

Possibly I'm slower than most, but it took me a while to realise that you can click on IGT (or time with loads, etc) to sort by that variable. Maybe there should be some indicator for this?
